One of the most inspiring fairs in the world
Cavagnis Lacerenza is pleased to partecipate to the 2023 edition of BRAFA, one of the leading art fairs in the world. The gallery's stand, number 46, features a fine selection of Ancient Art, European Sculpture, precious Works of Art and fascinating antiquities.
Highlights include an elegant Figure of Psyche, by Adamo Tadolini (1788-1868), one of Canova's favourite pupils; two striking marble heads from the Roman Empire, a Portrait Head of a Girl, 3rd Century A.D., and a Head of an Athlete, circa 1st Century B.C.; a fascinating Bronze Figure of Atlas, by Francesco Righetti (1749-1819); and finally an impressive marble Fireplace Leg, attributed to the etchings of Gianbattista Piranesi, from the mid-18th Century.
